01
Day 1

Fes Merzouga

Make room for the dunes of Erg Chebbi and their changing light. On a full day here, keep travel local; walks, camel rides or a camp night can be requested separately.

This is a substantial road stage. Start early, allow for comfort stops and keep visits selective. An extra night can shorten the driving day.

Planned overnight areaMerzouga
02
Day 2

Merzouga Todra Gorges Dadès Valley

Approach the high gorge walls near Tinghir and pause for a walk where access allows. Comfortable shoes help on uneven ground; the length of the walk follows your group’s needs.

Follow the valley past villages, cultivated strips and sculpted rock. Choose viewpoints according to road conditions, leaving time to enjoy the changing scale of the landscape.

Planned overnight areaDadès Valley
03
Day 3

Dadès Valley Skoura Ouarzazate

Follow the edge of the palm groves and seek out views of earthen kasbahs. A visit to Amridil may be requested, subject to opening and entrance arrangements.

Settle into Ouarzazate with time around Taourirt’s earthen architecture. Keep the programme light if this is your arrival day; studio visits can be discussed separately.

Planned overnight areaOuarzazate
04
Day 4

Ouarzazate Aït Ben Haddou Marrakech

Walk towards the ksar and take in its stepped earthen skyline. Leave time for the uphill lanes and valley views, choosing the walking route to suit your group.

Allow time to settle into Marrakech and explore its medina at your own pace. Vehicles meet you at an accessible point; riad lanes may require a short walk.
